It’s a Long Way to the Top…
It's official. Site Four Entertainment is open for business.
This week marks the launch of the Site Four Entertainment website, the first public-facing home for the independent film company founded by Trevor MacPherson. The site went live as the company begins laying the groundwork for its first slate of productions, and it represents something simple but significant: a flag in the ground.
The website, found at sitefourentertainment.com, outlines the company's mission, services, and creative direction. Visitors will find information on what Site Four does, who it's for, and where it's headed. The short answer to all three: original low-budget filmmaking, people who want to be part of something early, and somewhere worth watching.
The company is currently in the early stages of development on its first projects, with a focus on short films in the sci-fi, horror, and suspense space. Site Four is actively seeking writers, crew members, actors, and collaborators to get involved at the ground level, with an eye toward submitting finished work to film festivals.
Also open for submissions is the company's first anthology project, a sci-fi horror short film collection built around the theme of scientific hubris. Writers and creators interested in contributing can reach out at submissions@sitefourentertainment.com.
This is the first of what will be regular updates from Site Four as the company grows. Future posts will cover project developments, submissions, production news, and everything in between. There is a lot in the pipeline and this is only the beginning.
Stay tuned. It's going to be a good ride.
